TransLink Data Showcase

We would like to invite you to participate in the first ever TransLink Data Showcase.

This is a great opportunity for all developers who want to build products with real-time information of Queensland public transport. If you can imagine how this data can be used to improve customers’ experience with public transport, then come attend our TransLink Data Showcase on Saturday 10 August 2013 from 9am to 3pm at TransLink Centre for Service Excellence, at Kelvin Grove QLD 4059.

TransLink is committed to Queensland’s Open Data policy and down the track, real-time information will be made widely available to the public. We’re not at that stage yet, but we’re close. And we want to work hand-in-hand with you in understanding how you want to use our data. So we want to give you a behind-the-scenes look and this event will be used to collate developer feedback.

As a division of the Department of Transport and Main Roads, TransLink is responsible for leading and shaping Queensland’s overall passenger transport system. We facilitate passenger transport services for Queenslanders and aim to provide a single integrated transport network accessible to everyone.

Attendance is free of charge. In order to attend, please express your interest here by 31 July 2013. Please be advised that other logistical information will be sent only to participants who have been selected based on the requirements and application information below.
