With 93% of recruiters claiming to vet candidates’ social media profiles before offering them a job, it might be a good idea to review any information available about yourself online before sending in an application.

Professional social network LinkedIn is the obvious choice for potential employers to browse. However, this infographic by Career Glider reveals that recruiters are also checking out candidates via their Facebook and Twitter profiles, too.

Using social media to hire candidates may not be a bad idea for businesses, though. Causing a 43% increase in quantity and 49% perceived increase in quality, it’s no wonder that over two thirds of recruiters plan to raise their level of investment in social recruiting.
