Steve has been a partner with PwC since 2004, specialising in technology and cyber services, and has led a number of engagements providing clients with global response capabilities with a base in Melbourne and operational hubs in Houston, New York City, London, Johannesburg and Bangalore.
Steve was formerly a General Manager with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), where he was responsible for fraud and security related intelligence and risk management. Prior to the CBA, Steve was the lead fraud and integrity risk consulting Partner at Anderson, where he assisted numerous organisations manage their financial crime and corruption prevention programs, conduct investigations and integrate risk management systems.
During his earlier career in government, Steve’s roles included Manager Special Projects with the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and Detective with the Australian Federal Police. At the ICAC, Steve investigated some of the most sensitive allegations of corruption within the NSW public sector.
Steve has presented at forums including the 2015 World Economic Forum / Japan Cyber3 Conference, The Asian Development Bank, and the 2007 APEC summit in Australia. In 2007, Steve launched Forensically Speaking, a forum specifically designed for women working in the forensics industry.
