Mohammad is a telecoms adviser with 26 years’ experience covering strategy and regulation, M&A, innovation and digital.
He has worked in 84 countries, is board adviser to several digital start-ups, and with PwC, IBM and Vodafone where he served on the executive team in Vodafone Egypt and led strategy for the group’s emerging markets businesses. Mohammad was national telecommunications adviser to the government of Myanmar in 2015, and at PwC managed the firm’s TMT practice in India, SE Asia and across the ASEANZ region.
He is regularly quoted by the Financial Times, BBC TV and Forbes, chairs the ministerial program of Mobile World Congress and is a conference board adviser to the GSMA. He has advised the World Bank and the United Nations Broadband Commission on digital and telecom related topics.
